Kickapoo State Park has several campgrounds, one for tents, one for groups, and another that is fully equipped with showers and other facilities. There is also an equestrian campground in the Middle Fork Fish & Wildlife Area. Backpackers can also park at the equestrian campground or the Bunker Hill canoe access, and walk a couple of miles to Pondside Campground, which is accessible only on foot. It is in a meadow that has a small pond, and is surrounded by forest and wildflowers. It also has a pump but the well water is not potable.
